Join in with Fitness is Fun Individual Sessions or small group Classes at Shetland Physiotherapy for people of all ages showing how to keep fit, advice on Osteoporosis, prevent falls and stay safe while at home or out and about by giving step by step advice to improve flexibility, strength, stamina and balance. BMI Body Mass Index test available to set goals to work for to improve general health and wellness.
As the years go by, many people avoid exercise because they don’t feel they have the energy, or see it as a risk to their health.
But the greatest risk to physical and mental wellbeing is saying goodbye to an active lifestyle.
Peer support in classes can give valuable motivation improving self esteem and confidence.
Whether you’re approaching your later years or caring for an older friend or relative advice from a physiotherapist can help with keeping healthy as the years go on.
Classes are 1 hour sessions 1 x week and can be arranged to suit peoples home or work commitments.
